Meet Suzanne, our founder

Suzanne Schultz, Founder                                                                                                                           A Chicago native, Suzanne earned her degree in Business Administration (with a Marketing emphasis) from University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. She launched her media career as an Advertising Sales Executive at The Daily Camera newspaper in Boulder, Colorado. In 2002, Suzanne fulfilled a childhood dream of ‘living in the big city’ when she was hired as an Account Executive at Scripps Networks representing major national lifestyle brands – Food Network, Fine Living, and DIY Network – and moved from the Rocky Mountains to downtown Chicago. With emerging media at the forefront, Suzanne quickly understood the strategic benefits of combining both on-air and on-line advertising to increase advertiser reach and maximize media dollars. In 2008, Audience Science, a performance-driving leader in behavior targeting and retargeting, hired Suzanne to pioneer building out the Midwest territory as Senior Account Executive. Like her previous positions, Suzanne diligently built the new territory into a multi-million dollar revenue driver. Today, Suzanne resides in Denver, Colorado and continues to pioneer the digital media landscape and drive her passion for digital advertising as Founder of Growth Marketing Werks.

When not working on driving client’s ROI, Suzanne finds outdoor adventure and travel more than a good idea; it is a passionate, intentional lifestyle. From sunset waterski runs to year-round touring of backcountries to reaching for the remote areas of Patagonia, Chile and the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, working and playing hard are core principles of Suzanne’s life, exceeded only by her commitment to working and playing smart.

Suzanne was 1 of 13 international women hand selected to climb 3 South American peaks in 3 weeks in support of the advancement of impoverished girls, women and conservation. Collectively, the 13 women raised nearly $80,000.
